Meet Dani
I am an independent SEO consultant specializing in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Originally from Austria and now based in Zurich, Switzerland, I understand the unique differences between these countries, making me the perfect partner for any B2B business looking to position their website in search engines and attract the right audiences from the DACH region.
My career started in IT as a project manager. After a few years, I decided to leave computers behind and study civil engineering. However, after graduating and gaining work experience, I found my way back to technology, landing in an SEO agency where I discovered my passion. Everything I know about SEO, I’ve learned hands-on by solving real problems for clients.
What I love most about SEO is its constant evolution, the unique challenges every niche presents, and the insights it offers into how businesses operate. My approach is highly business-oriented. I always start by understanding my clients’ business plans and aligning SEO strategies with their goals. For me, blogs are often secondary—I focus first on optimizing the core revenue-driving pages, the "money pages."
I usually work with my clients for at least 12 months, combining strategic planning with implementation to ensure measurable results. I also share my knowledge through speaking at conferences and writing two newsletters. My *English* newsletter, sent out weekly, explains how the markets in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland work, helping international businesses understand their differences. My *German* newsletter, sent out daily, shares SEO, business, and online marketing ideas in a simple and entertaining way. Additionally, I host a weekly SEO Office Hour in Spanish.
I speak three languages fluently: German is my mother tongue, English is my second language, and Spanish is my “love language” because it’s what I speak with my Spanish partner at home. And while I’m allergic to both cats and dogs, I’m firmly on Team Cat—they’re independent, just like me.
