Meet Alex

I'm a social media manager with six years of experience across the charity and higher education sectors. I currently manage social media accounts for Manchester Metropolitan University and work with Pride in Liverpool on awareness day content.

I specialise in organic social media, which means running social media accounts without paying to boost the reach of a post. This involves keeping accounts up to date, creating photos and videos, answering enquiries and developing major campaigns.

Outside of my job, my work focuses on the mental health of social media managers. I regularly write articles exploring these issues and deliver talks targeted towards senior staff and other social media managers.
